You won’t want to miss Pat Henman’s unforgettable one-woman show Beyond the Legal Limit on Thursday, April 6 at 7:30pm. Part story-telling, part concert, Pat tells the story of trauma and recovery as the result of a car crash with a drunk driver in this unique and passionate one-act drama with music.

Woodbury Resort is known for its twice annual fishing derbies. For almost 35 years these have been events that are looked forward to by people far and wide. This Easter long weekend is the Dolly Derby, where you can win big cash payouts for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, lots of door prizes, wind up party and all profits going to local charities.
Every Friday afternoon, the Nelson Royal Canadian Legion (402 Victoria Street – Stanley Street Entrance) holds meat & prize draws from 3 to 5 pm. There is also often a 50/50 draw. All proceeds to local charities. Please come out and join us in a great community cause.
