The Best Car Shows in Kaslo and Nelson

If you've taken a road trip around the Nelson and Kootenay Lake region, you know it's the perfect place for a drive. With quiet lakeside roads and breathtaking scenery, it's no wonder our communities host car shows with some truly unique and rare vehicles.

KASLO SHOW AND SHINE

If you're a car buff, this is the event for you. For more than 25 years, during the Kaslo May Days celebrations, Kaslo Show and Shine has taken over downtown Kaslo with a unique collection of historic vehicles.

Sunday May 21 2023

You'll find over 100 vehicles from across British Columbia, the Prairie Provinces and the USA Pacific Northwest, gathering to show off their vehicles and polished to perfection. New for 2023, see "Miss British Columbia", a world recording beating nitro and drag powered boat!

Vehicles aren't the only thing in this epic show, you'll be in awe of the record holding “Miss British Columbia” - a hydro plane nitro methane powered 1,500hp. boat. Whew! Nearly too much for a gear head to take in!

If you're interested in joining the show, register your vehicle at Kaslo Show and Shine.
