The Friends of the Library are dedicated to helping the Nelson Public Library through successful booksales and other creative fundraising efforts live trivia nights, with the funds going to new books, necessary technologies, furnishings and program supplies.

We meet every month on the 2nd Tuesday from 5:30pm-7pm at Torchlight Brewing, Nelson.

You’ll have a chance to do some networking, so bring those business cards! We’ll do a lightning round of elevator pitches and skill share (aka swap/trade skills) with other entrepreneurs.

Join our growing field of chess lovers every other Tuesday night for Backroads’ unique tournament-style event. Play a maximum of 5 timed games against other enthusiasts, making friends and checking mates along the way. With a $25 Backroads Gift Card on the line, you’re sure to get your fill of games. And Beer.
