Shambhala Music Festival Welcomes You To The Farmily

Set on the Salmo River Ranch, this celebration of electronic music and its culture is a staple summer event in the Kootenay Lake region.

THE 24TH ANNUAL SHAMBHALA: JULY 21-24, 2023

Shambhala Music Festival was born in 1998, with some 500 people gathered at the Salmo River Ranch for a party showcasing local talent. Today this 500-acre working ranch, with it's various farm animals, miraculously transforms into the largest city in the West Kootenay region for five days every July.

Every year this vibrant celebration attracts over 15,000 people from far and wide, and showcases the best djs and artists in the electronic music scene. Delivering cutting edge production over six stages, the most famous being The Grove, Padoga, and Living Room, you're sure to have an unforgettable weekend on the farm.  

Salmo River Ranch

Set in the gardens and hayfields of Salmo River Ranch, this working farm completely transforms for this amazing festival with camping on the grounds. Bring your tent, camper or RV and set up at the full-service camp site for the weekend. You'll camp alongside the pristine Salmo River, which offers festival goers the opportunity to have a dip to cool off. Various food and beverage stands will keep you well fed at this alcohol-free festival, as well as a general store. Don't forget to check out the bustling artisan market with one of a kind hand-made festival wear and much more. Feel the Shambhalove and be part of this awesome farm-ily!
