What makes our region unlike any other? Well, a lot of things. We are excited to share with you a series of documentary short films that profile Our Place, the communities, the people and their passions that shape this remarkable destination.

"A Rare Bird" a fourteen-year-old birder, wildlife photographer and outdoor enthusiast. From ice fishing in North Kootenay Lake to overnight camping trips throughout the region, Gaelen and his birds are a freeze frame of life growing up in Our Place.

"Synergy" explores the unyielding power of the mountains through the ski goggles of John "Buff" Buffery.
