Community Fun for All The Family at Balfour Daze

JULY 6, 2024

The 2024 Balfour Daze promises to be a vibrant festival, perfect for all the family. Join us on Saturday July 6th for a lively day celebrating the community of Balfour - it’s free!

Taking place in Balfour’s Community Playing Fields, this fun filled day is brimming with things to see, with interactive demonstrations by Harrop Fire Department and a dog agility show by Kootenay Underdogs to name a few. Home-grown talent is showcased with musicians and bands performing live throughout the day. Keep the kids entertained with lots of activities such as pickleball, an imagination station, local entertainers and much more.

There are many tasty food options to sample; from a by-donation pancake breakfast to excellent local food vendors. You can even enjoy your craft brew in the sunshine at their beer garden. Don’t forget to check out a superb range of artisan vendors and their locally made products, on what promises to be a glorious summer day in Balfour.

Why not make a night of it? From 4pm, join local bands White Lightning, Baker Street Blues and The Metre Maids on stage for an evening of musical entertainment that you won't want to miss.

Co-sponsored by the Balfour Recreation Commission and the Balfour & District Business & Historic Association. Proceeds from this event will be used to purchase bear safe garbage bins for the Balfour Community Park.
