Nelson’s first Haute Trash! – Trash Fashion Show and Competition on May 20 at the Capitol Theatre.

A runway-style fashion show featuring creative designs made from post-consumer waste in several design categories including youth, art and sculpture.

A community wearable art event with the goal of spreading awareness about the garbage we create, our relationship to it and coming up with creative solutions to keep items out of landfills.

There will also be some trash-themed performances.
