Weekly Tango Mini Lesson & Practice

Want to learn and practice dancing Argentine Tango? We host a weekly mini-lesson and practica at Christie Lee’s Hall in Fairview. The guided portion from 7:30-8:15 has a different host and topic each week (check our Facebook page for host and topic announcements). We have an open practice after the lesson until 9:30pm. Dancers of all levels are welcome!

Fishing Forever – June 14 & 15 @ Cottonwood Lake

Cottonwood Lake Regional Park

It’s time to put “FISHING FORVER” on your calendar for June 14/15.  Fishing Forever is an opportunity to go fishing on Cottonwood Lake, complete with a lunch, all provided by the Nelson Rod and Gun Club in conjunction with the BC Wildlife Federation and Freshwater Fisheries. Saturday June 14Th is targeted to disabled, senior, and mobility challenged individuals accompanied by caregivers.
