Canada Day kicks off with the Nelson Lions Pancake Breakfast!
Beginning at 8am July 1st, the Nelson Lions Club will once again take over the 500 block of Baker St. for our annual Canada Day Pancake Breakfast fundraiser.
Enjoy pancakes, sausages, coffee, juice and more before you head to Lakeside Park for a day of July 1st festivities.
July 1st Pancakes is one of our Club’s major fundraisers, and as always, all monies raised are returned to our community through Community Grants, student bursaries, donations, support for local charities, sight and hearing programs, and other Lions projects. We ask for a minimum donation of $10 for adults and $5 for kids, cash or card. Additional donations are always welcome, with our thanks. Towards the end of October, we’ll also be back with our annual Nelson Lions Firewood Sale, another long-running community effort that helps make this support possible year after year.
