Molly Brown House

Molly Brown House

312 3 Street, Kaslo, BC

This was the heart of the Red Light District. Molly Brown, a local madam, built this charming home and the girls were allowed uptown on Saturday afternoons but they enjoyed lounging in the side yard which contained a magnificent garden. Local children used to hide in the bushes across the street to watch the girls arrive by wagon from Sandon.
