The Harrop wetlands in Sunshine Bay Regional Park is one of the few remaining wetland areas on the shores of Kootenay Lake and key habitat for blue-listed species including western toads, great blue heron, and painted turtle. Trailhead can be accessed at 6375 Erindale Rd.
