The Masonic Lodge was built by the Green Brothers who had lost their store on Front Street in the fire of 1894. The one story building housed their grocery store and a small post office. The Kaslo Masons started meeting in 1894. The top floor of this building was added in 1896 to house the then constituted Kaslo Masonic Lodge No. 25. The Lodge continues to meet monthly to this day.
