1908 - The Central School, originally three stories, is a two-storey, rectangular, flat-roofed brick building designed by Alexander Carrie. The original school had a third storey, an elaborate structure that housed a large assembly room. A gymnasium was added on the Ward Street side of the school after the third storey was removed.
