Celebrating Kaslo's rich heritage of mining and forestry, artifacts on display depict the toil, danger and hardships that were experienced by the pioneer families of days gone by. A visit to the museum gives visitors a chance to reminisce about a time when Kaslo was claimed to be the mining metropolis of the world. Those were times when fortunes were made and lost in a day, during the Kootenay mining boom.
