Calling all cross-country skiers! The Nelson and Kootenay Lake region offers a variety of nordic and skate options. On either groomed or ungroomed trails, the region has wilderness or resort skiing, backcountry loops over forestry roads and abandoned railroads, or gentle golf course trails with incredible mountain vistas.
At the 2018 Craft Beer of the Columbia Basin Film Competition, hosted by Nelson Civic Theater, 16 films were submitted and shown on the big screen. There was laughter and some profound learning experiences, about beer, of course. Here is our submission for Angry Hen Brewery in Kaslo, BC.
