Activities will be geared towards school aged children aged 5-13.

This is a six-part series reclaiming the art of turning towards loss in service of healing. In community, we can transmute the powerful energies of sorrow into good grief.

Embark on a learning journey with us! We will be reading books exploring the truth of Indigenous history and stories. Come to one or come to all and learn the richness of Indigenous culture. New learners welcome at The Nelson Public Library

Drop by the Nelson Public Library Thursday mornings at 10:30 come to sing your favourite songs and hear some great stories!

All ages welcome.

Every Friday afternoon, the Nelson Royal Canadian Legion (402 Victoria Street – Stanley Street Entrance) holds meat & prize draws from 3 to 5 pm.  There is also often a 50/50 draw.  All proceeds to local charities.  Please come out and join us in a great community cause.

White Lightning Blues, Rock and Boogie Band returns to Finley’s Bar and Grill with another night of great dance music-  classics from Little Walter to Chuck Berry, Little Feat and the Beatles  plus an ever increasing collection of Kootenay themed  originals. Suggested Cover $10.

During the height of the Cold War, in the 1950s and 1960s, nearly 50 bunkers were constructed across Canada. In 2017, the Nelson Museum began work on restoring the space and opening it to the public. You can join a tour of one of the Museumʼs best-loved spaces!
